Roxana T. Manesh – Attorney

Roxana

B.A. in English from Washington State University (2018)

J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School (2021)

Roxana Tierney Manesh grew up in the acres of Hockinson’s country hills. From an early age, her parents instilled onto her the importance of improving one’s community. In college, Roxana split off from the pre-med track to follow her talents in writing. She was encouraged by a few professors to pursue law school, and through her internship for Crystal Lambert at Lambert Law in Vancouver, WA, Roxana fell in love with family law and the impact an attorney can make. Roxana graduated from Washington State University Vancouver with magna cum laude honors with a major in English and minors in Criminal Justice & Public Affairs.

She graduated with her Juris Doctor (JD) from Lewis & Clark Law School. Roxana was an active leader among her law school class: she served as Lewis & Clark's Family Law Society President, was a founding member of Oregon Criminal Defense Law Students Association, was a peer mentor, and received pro bono honors in consecutive years. During law school, Roxana obtained a judicial externship at Clark County Superior Court where she was mentored primarily by the Honorable Judge Bernard Veljacic. She gained a priceless, foundational understanding of the considerations and decisions that a Judge or Commissioner makes when they preside over a case.

Prior to joining the Vern McCray Law Firm, Roxana was a law clerk to a busy Seattle family law firm dealing with high conflict divorce and custody. In her time away from the office, Roxana teaches Irish dance at a competitive Portland academy, she enjoys traveling, skiing, paddle boarding, and working with local animal rescues and Bridge the Gap-a non profit dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care.
